Now that Alex is moving around more, he is not to be trusted to roam the living room freely. Last week, after watching him bang his head on the floor a couple of times, we ran out and bought this lovely foam floor mat and a Superyard. Not the most stylish arrangement for a living room, but style went out the window when we decided to have kids.

It’s not bad actually. At least Mom can get a few things done without the little monkey constantly clinging to her body (I mean that in the most affectionate way).
