Season’s Greetings from Babyland! We’ve been receiving a lot of complaints in the last say… um, several months… regarding our failure to update the ole website. Well to those people I would like to say, “We had a BABY for CHRISSAKES!!! Give us a break”- lol.

I know what you’re thinking. That’s a lame excuse. There are plenty of couples out there with many more kids who accomplish all sorts of things. Well, we’re not them. That said, I will make it my new year’s resolution to try to keep the site current. But who ever keeps their resolutions anyway?

Well, as you can see our little Peanut is not so little anymore. Alex turned 5 months old on December 25th! The weeks and months since his birth have just mysteriously flown by. The sleepless nights and endless crying (of the baby and his parents) are finally behind us and we are really beginning to enjoy the rewards of parenthood. Not that we didn’t before… but the cuteness factor begins to increase exponentially when the kid starts to smile and giggle and babble and play and can even recognize the difference between you and the average stranger (he doesn’t like strangers-hehe). It’s not just poopy diapers anymore, he’s becoming a real person- with his own charming little personality and all!

Alex had a great first Christmas. He received more toys for than we know what to do with. The poor kid is in sensory overload from all of the clinks, boings, and music emanating from said gifts. But isn’t that what Christmas is all about? Spoiling our kids rotten. At least the kid ain’t picky– if it has flasing lights and makes obnoxious sounds– it’s ok by him! I’m just glad he doesn’t want an Xbox yet.

Well, Alex is almost done eating so I have to go now. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned since having a baby is MULTITASKING (or at least how to type with one hand)! So to those of you who care, I sincerely apologize for the lack of updates. I will try to post more soon.
